We’re partnering with Comfort Cases, an inspiring nonprofit dedicated to supporting foster kids, and we need your help to make this season truly special! The North Pole Express is a nationwide initiative where Morguard communities, including our own 210 Watermark, team up to collect donations for foster children. Who Are We Supporting? 💙 This year, we’ve partnered with Comfort Cases , a nonprofit organization that’s changing lives one backpack at a time. Founded by Rob Scheer, a former foster child, Comfort Cases was born out of the realization that many foster kids enter the system with their belongings in trash bags—a heartbreaking reality that lacks dignity and respect. Comfort Cases steps in to change this narrative by providing children with “comfort cases”—backpacks filled with items like new pajamas, books, hygiene products, cozy blankets, and stuffed animals. These backpacks not only provide essential supplies but also offer something far more valuable: a sense of dignity, comfort, and belonging. Each item is thoughtfully chosen to remind children that they are seen, valued, and cared for, even in challenging times.
